Dear Mr. Yarnall,
I cannot begin to tell you how much my husband
and I hold you in esteem for your major contribution to the Doberman
breed and your pure professionalism in the dog world.
Although Kimbertal Kennel had been producing
quality Dobermans from top bloodlines since 1963 I was not aware of
your efforts and accomplishments until 1970 when I began to breed
Dobermans in earnest. If I could emulate any breeder at that time you
were my choice, because you did everything in your breeding program
the right way and the well deserved notoriety and success came to a
man who deserved it. The notoriety and success of those wonderful
years pale to your accomplishments and contribution to the Doberman
breed today. Mr.Yarnall you have made it possible for dedicated
breeders like myself to have the "best of the best" bloodlines in our
breeding programs, you have brought the best of Europe to us and
unselfishly shared with us the fruits of your labors. The great
significance, magnitude and scope of your breeding program thru your
wonderful dogs will have a positive effect on the genetics of our
wonderful breed for many years to come.
As I mentioned to you in one of our
conversations, "
a real breeder is an artist who creates because
of their insatiable creative nature and whose thirst to nurture shows
in the demeanor of their creation."
Thank you Mr. Yarnall for our four Kimbertal
Dobermans who are the essence and epitome of the breed in every way.
Thank you for your unselfish dedication to the
Doberman breed.
Thank you for your great contribution to the
Doberman breed
Thank you for mentoring and sharing for the
future and well being of the Doberman breed.
Thank you for the legacy of the Kimbertal
Doberman that will live on well past our time.
Thank you for your example of conducting
yourself as a refined and kind gentleman, a true ambassador and
shining example of how we all should conduct ourselves in the dog
world.
Respectfully and Gratefully
O.S./V.A. Dobermans
I know that everyone who had the honor of
knowing Aristo truly misses him, I wish I had taken the opportunity
to meet this great and good hearted soul

Dear Mr. Yarnall,
We just wanted to thank you for everything you ALWAYS do for
us. My husband & I drove to you kennels on June 4th & picked
up a female black doberman from your stock since you so generously
agreed to sell us one!
We named her Jade & she has filled a void in our lives. The drive
from Pittsburg was worth every second of our time. We THANK YOU very
much!

Dear Sirs:
I am writing to let you know that I lost my very best friend
Saturday afternoon, Feb. 12. His name is Maxwell and came from your
litter #WP788064/04. He was born on June 13, 1997. He had been sick
for the last month, first losing sight in his right eye, and then
developing what was believed to be a tumor. Two weeks ago he quit
eating altogether and then stopped drinking last week.
I am writing on one hand to thank you for Max, and on the other
hand to tell you I wish I had never heard of Kimbertal.
From the time I received him, I knew Max was special. Even
though he would end up with one ear up and the other down. (He hated
the procedure to crop his ears).
As he grew older he developed his own personality. And all
through his life, right to the end, the only time he growled was when
playing tug-of-war with his toys. And through it all, he never, ever
cried except when I had to leave him for any reason. And then his
stubby tail would wag feverishly upon my return.
He loved my mother who died 2 years ago at the age of 100. He
would lay next to her with his head on her lap to be petted.
And, as for me, he always wanted to be at my side. He looked
forward to sitting next to me waiting for a bite from breakfast to
the evening waiting for his favorite bites of steak, and especially
the bone.
Each night, at some time or other, Max would jump on my lap to give
me his famous "lovey hugs".
And while he watched TV with me in the evenings, when it was
time for bed, all I had to say was "let's call it a day, Maxie", and
he would then follow me to bed. And would always give me those great
good-night kisses each and every night.
I can't describe how empty this house is now without him. I
will probably have another dog soon, but there will never, ever be
another Maxie. And I guess that is why I will never have another
dobe. There is not another one in the world that can compare to my
very best friend.
I know that you cannot comprehend how much I miss him. Even
more than I ever thought I would.
I spent the entire last day of his life with him. Trying with
no avail to get him to take just a little water. And then, around
2:30 Maxie stood up, looked at me and fell at my feet to take his
last breath. And with that look, it seemed as though his bad eye
could see my face. And I firmly believe that with the look he was
saying "time to call it a day, my best friend". That I will never
forget. Because that is all I have now, just the memories of the best
days with my very best buddy.
So sadly missed by

Dear Sirs:
As my husband told you in a mail before, we just lost our
doberman which we loved very much and protected us a lot. One day, my
grand son which is 10 years old, was playing dead in the swimming
pool, and the dobbie started barking at him, and when he saw that he
din not react to his barking, he jumped into the pool, and very
gently pulled him to the stairs of the pool, where he stood up and
petted him. He also took care of my mother who is very ill, he did
not wanted to separate from her, one day she felt down and he did not
left her room. Also, when she was swimming on a lake, he was always
in circles around her. This is just a couple of many actions of the
dog who was incredible, he was faithfull, noble, smart, protective,
sociable, etc When we saw your dogs in the internet, we printed the
pictures, and every time we see them, we fall in love with them more.
Is too bad that you do not have any now for sale, but as you said,
they will beborn in the near future. I am really interested in bying
one of them, so please keep us in mind, and I hope that we are one of
the first ones on wanting one of these litter you are expecting. So,
we can choose one of the best trusting your word. Please save us in
your book and let us know as soon as you are receiving money for one
of them.
Sincerely yours:

Dear Aerin,
The pup arrived in perfect shape and on time. He is exactly as you
stated in our phone call. Beautiful slick coat and classic Dobe
markings and color. His temperment is very sweet and absolutely live
wire. He has been in constant motion playing with our 4 year old
twins. A very high energy baby. His name is Wikings Rocket!! As soon
as we saw him take off and fearlessly play with the big dogs, we knew
this was the perfect name. You had included a very nice pedigree
document withhim that we did not get with Razor. Can you provide one
for him?
Thank you very much.

Hello Bob, Sr.
Don't know if you remember me, my maiden name was ****r. I bought a
large black female Dobbie from you somewherearound 1976. I brought my
mother, Marion, up with me a few times and, later on, came up alone
for Hannah to have her earsretaped, enjoying the trip from Laurel,
Md. in my gold MG Midget.Hanna and I shared 13 wonderful years
together, the latter ones living on our beautiful farm in Maryland's
fox hunting country raising quarter horses. When I came up to
Kimbertal to pick out a puppy, as I was looking at the one's
available, you pointed to Hanna and said, "She's very laid back and
quiet, but will be your "shadow"....and she was. We went to work
together 6 days a week, managing a hunter, jumper barn, hiked part of
the Appalachian Trail, and later, shared a wonderful life on our farm
with two LabradorRetrievers, (no comparison :-) ) and a ton of cats.
The reason I'm writing this letter is due to a friend who just lost
his beloved dog and it made me think of those wonderful years spent
with Hannah. Just for the heck of it I went on line to see if you had
a web site or even still in business. I was excited to have that
wonderful aerial view of the kennel appear on my screen....and you
still have wolves. I just wanted to tell you how much my life was
enriched by my dear Hannah. She was everything you promised she would
be plus so much more. I'm now living in an 1801 house in New Windsor,
Md. with two cats and, no.... I'm not crazy, a number of spirits who
decided to stick around. Someday, perhaps I'll be in a situation
where I will again have the room for a large dog to romp and if I'm
so blessed will come to you once again for my "shadow".Thank you.

Rottweiler, home from Kimbertal we had to have her euthanized. She
was the best dog I have known. To say she was the perfect dog is no
exaggeration. She filled our lives with immeasurable joy and love.
Venus was not just a "pet," but a true member of our family. Words
cannot fully express what she meant to us. And the void we feel at
her passing is like a hole in our hearts. We just wanted to thank you
for the wonderful dog that you sold to us. We are better for having
her in our lives.

What can i possibly say about kimbertal kennels, the
question is what can i not say... the first dog that i had
ever owned camefrom kimbertal, i was only ten, but he was
all mine... rambo was his name, rather master jasons obvious
choice, though he was not my choice at all, in fact he was a
surprise birthday gift to me, i remember crying, MOMMY LOOK,
ITS A DOBIE!!! as they rushed me into my room pretending i
was in trouble for not cleaning it. indeed he was a dobie,
the most beautiful dog i had ever seen, even to this day...
that special day will remain with me for ever. though i had
not personally picked him, i feel as though he were sent to
me by fate. i spent the greater part of my youth running and
playing with him, and anybody whos ever seen a full bred
dobie run and play, youve noticed the precise head fakes and
jukes they throw to fool theyre "opponents"... i swear if it
werent for my rambo i would have never learned how to play
football!! haha, he, out of all my freinds including my own
father tought me more about running than anybody. me and my
mother took him to obedience training, he loved it! it was
like a vacation for him to show off his "talents" around the
other dogs... might have had the biggest bark on the block,
but his bite was completely harmless, in fact he was the
biggest hambone in the world. i remember how he would pose
for the camera when my mom would snapp a few pictures of
him. he would sit soo proud and majestic. like he knew he
was the most handsomest dog in the world. and intelligience,
he knew it all... he also knew he had us all rapped around
his lil paw. (well not that little) nothing got passed him,
he had such a sence of humor you couldnt help but to laugh
hysterically when you seen him "actin up" he would really
try sneaking up on you and try scaring you. like you cant
see a hundred and ten pound dobie creepin up on you out of
the corner of your eye!! but he would , and id play along
with him until he would get about a foot and a half away and
id jump at him and hed take off runnin, insueing me to chase
him around the house. then of course there was the thing
with him sitting on the couch... rambo was not aloud on the
couch...ever! BUT, as rambo got bigger and into full growth,
he began sitting on the couch like normal human beeings
would, we thought this was hysterical and had to just let
him do it as long as he didnt get all the way up there, (and
wasnt stealing anybodies seat!!!) lol then there was the
hill, if you are purchasing a dobie, you must understand
that these are unusually large dogs and require an even
larger space to run freely. we had a massive fenced in yard,
with a HUGE HILL . every day me and my best freind rambo
would be out there, me throwing the ball over the hill, him
chasing it down before it would hit the fence at the
bottom!! then me chasing him for an hour before i could
finnaly get the ball back off him... greedy guts! lol, we
would spend hours upon hours doing this over and over again,
til we were both ready to pass out from exhaustion, then we
d go inside, id lay on the couch and rambo would just flop
on the lanoleum floor as flat as a pancake, after guzzlin
down a few gallons of water i might add. ahhh, rambo was the
best freind any kid could ever want, i feel truely blessed
having the oppurtunity of owning a kimbertal dobie at such
an early age, i feel i grew along with him, and tragicly,
this past year he had passed on at the grand old age of
12... he lived a good , long life... though not long enough,
i wish he were still here with me, begging to go outside and
play ball... so as i contemplate purchasing a new dog, i
will consider no other place then kimbertal...when i saw
that theyre rottweiler kennels had burnt last year i had
felt absolutely devastated, and felt like crying, but i know
the kimbertal family is strong and dedicated and theyre
legacy will live on forever. if you ever have a chance to
visit the kennels you will never want to visit another
kennel or "pet store"ever again. i mean, this place is
amazing, from the wolves at the entrance to the kennels up
top, it is an all around experience that i feel every true
dog lover in the world should encounter first hand, i know i
did and im convinced for life...
love... Jason D.

I purchased a Doberman from Kimbertal Kennels in August
2001. Today my dog Jagger is 13 months old and has been a
wonderful pet.I have nothing but praise for Kimbertal
Dobermans. I have not had any problems with him and he is a
beautiful animal! His greatest trait is his wonderful
tempermment. He has been well socialized and interacts well
with other animials and people. I also have two little girls
and he loves to play with them any chance he gets. At 13
months of age, he is 30" tall and is 110 lbs of energy!
Every day I walk him, someone will stop and tell me what a
beautiful animal he is. Based on my success with Jagger, I
would definately buy from Kimbertal again. Happiness is
owning a Doberman!

My children gave me a rotty pup in 1998 for christmas, she
was a handful, but then she grew up. and she was the best
friend I ever had. she followed me everywhere, she was my
constant companion....and on Dec 14th of 2001, I lost
her..still don't know why, but I miss her sooo much, I
didn't think it would hurt this much....
She came from Kimbertal, and everyone was very nice, and
helpful. She even went to "boot camp" there, and it helped a
great deal....so, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I think
I'm getting ready to bring another rotty puppy into our
lives, and I will certainly return to Kimbertal for a puppy.
Hope to see all of you soon.....Regards, Pat H

I purchased a doberman from you nearly a year ago and I have
a few questions...
1. I bought a pet quality, black and tan male doberman from
you who was born in january of 2001. He is 30 and a half
inches tall and weighs about 95 pounds at 16 months. How
does this compare to the average dobermna and how does he
compare to a kimbertal doberman. I know what the standard
is, but wondered about how he actually compared.
2. My Dobe's parents were MAGNUM P I VON KIMBERTAL and
KIMBERTAL"S WHITE OAK INGA. I know you sometimes photograph
the parent dogs, so I was wondering if you would happen to
have any photos of these two that you couldpossibly e mail
me for future reference.
Finally, I would like to say that I am extremely happy with
"deeno" and he has made a perfect addition to the family.
These dogs are everything you said they would be and more.
Thank you for your time...

My family and I received one of your Dobie's from a friend
who was moving into an apartment and couldn't take Cleo

and had 10 wonderful years with her before sadly we had to
put her down. She was a wonderful part of our family. Now I
am out on my own and want another Dobie. I believe your
kennel has the most outstanding guarantees, but realize that
some of your customers return puppies for replacements for
whatever reason. what do you do with those 'rejected ones'.
Do you ever have 'older' dobes available. I just wanted to
let you know how happy my family and I were of our faithful

be much appreciated.

Dear Bob,
What I am about to tell you is one of the most upsetting
things you will ever hear. Before I do though, please know
that out "Farley" was even better then our "Samson". We
bought both of these dogs from you and with our 6 children
(ages 11-1) they were the BEST creatures we ever owned. Not
only in Health & Beauty, but in Spirit. What phenomenal
animals. You have always been more then kind with me, even
replacing a puppy when that one wasn't quite right for our
family. THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Now unfortunately, I need to tell you what has happened.
Approximately, three weeks ago, May 9th to be exact, Farley
and our Irish Setter, Clooney got into a fight. This was
totally brought on by CLOONEY and not Farley. Farley didn't
even want to fight, but the IRISH SETTER kept bothering him.
Well he could only take so much, and started fighting. Well,
Russ my husband, got in the middle of it and Farley
MISTAKINGLY bit Russ. Well, I took Russ to the Dr. and they
in turn called the Sheriff's Dept. (I told them that it
wasn't Farley's fault, he was our dog and not to bother to
get the Sheriffs Dept involved. They said it was law.)
Well, Bob I made a boo-boo. I thought that when Farley last
went to the vet he had received a 3 year Rabies Vaccine, but
it turned out he had only a one year Rabies. No big deal,
they would just have to keep in isolation for 10 days at a
cost of $165.00. Bob, I filled out a form when Farly checked
in, I CROSSED OUT ANY REFERNCE TO EUTHANASIA AND TOLD THEM
NO WAY, THIS DOG IS FAMILY!!!!! So when the 20th came to
pick him up, (it was on a Monday) I couldn't because, I work
in Madison. I leave 6:30 AM and am home 6:30 pm Mon-Fri.
Unfortunately, it has been a very tough year, Russ lost his
job and I had another baby, who was at Meriter Hospital for
3 months. She was born at 1lb 9 oz. She was only 25 weeks
old Anyway, we stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in
Madison that whole time. His dad lives with us and he as
Alzheimer's, it's just been a bad year. So, we only have the
one car, and that's the one I take to work. So Russ couldn't
pick Farley up during the day.
The Sauk County Humane Society, where Farley was had strange
hours. So, we told them we would pick him up on Saturday the
24th. Well, my father-in-law who lives with us got very sick
and we took him to the hospital on Saturday. We called and
told them just keep him until next Saturday the 1st and we
would pick him up then. They said fine and told me it would
be $5.20 a day. They did say that they were short on space,
but Russ told them that we only had the one car.
This past Wednesday (May 29th) , I get my phone messages
when I came home form work at 6:30 pm and there was one from
8:30 in the am. It's the animal shelter calling and telling
me that they need to speak to me regarding Farley's
EUTHANASIA, and to call. Bob, I got the message at 6:30 pm,
THEY KILLED MY DOG THAT MORNING!!!!! THEY KILLED MY DOG,
BOB!!!! They didn't call before then, they didn't send me a
letter. THEY KILLED THAT POOR CREATURE WHO WAS IN THERE BY
NO FAULT OF HIS OWN!!!!!!
I should have known, because when I was there to drop him
off this horrible women, who worked there, by the name of
Judy kept saying how my insurance was going to cancel me and
that Rotties are forbidden in the town of Reedsburg and she
just went on and on. She told me not to visit. (I couldn't
anyway, because of my job) but I should have known. I feel
sick all the time and am crying more then my baby.
I am sorry to put this on you, but I just needed to vent. I
am so angry!! I MISS MY DOG, Bob:(
So, where do I go from here? I don't know. I want a dog from
you, the same line as Farley. Same Mom and Dad if
possible!!! My problem like everyone else in the world is
money, but I will get it. Just tell me you have a puppy or
are expecting one from that same line and I will do what I
can. It might have to be payments before you ship him, but
hopefully that would be OK.
Again Bob, thank you. My family is devastated. My children
don't understand. So if I could tell them that Farley has
sent a special friend to watch over them in his place, it
might make things better.
You are a good man and a wonderful breeder (along with your
staff) of these magnificent creatures, who get such a bad
rap!!! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TOO, THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS, JUST
BAD OWNERS!!
I hope to hear from you soon.
Take care.

A friend of mine and myself recently traveled over 2,500
miles to try to find 3 suitable puppies for starting our own
dobe business. We arrived early one morning and was greeted
by the staff and took the "puppy" tour. Needless to say, we
left there the next day with 3 puppies in tow and drove back
the 18 some odd hours to Mississippi. The puppies were
absolutly wonderful the whole trip, never once complaining
or having any "accidents" in their crates. We have fallen in
love with our boy and 2 girls. I purchased a Kimbertal male
3 1/2 years ago and lost him 2 weeks before I took the trip.
He was by far the BEST friend and constant companion I have
ever had so I was a little concerned about the new one. The
new pup has helped to fill a HUGE gap in my heart the I
thought would never heal. I am thankful to Frank and the
staff at Kimbertal for helping me select this wonderful
addition to our family.

We purchased our second rottie : whom we named Lilly. I
cannot express enough to you how happy we are. Daisy, who is
now 10 months old, gets along so well with Lilly. She is
exactly what she needed. Daisy is such a personable dog. We
have been taking her to Top Dog Obedience School in NJ since
she was four months old and has done so well she has
advanced in classes. She is so loving to our three children
and very protective of them. She makes us laugh every day.
She weighs 105 lbs now and thinks she weighs 2 lbs. It is
amazing how careful she is with the pup. If she hears her
yelp she stops what she is doing to make sure she is ok. She
is in her glory. However, I'm not stupid and have been
preparing my house for when they reach maturity. I don't
think it's wise to keep any fine crystal out: not that I use
it anyway. Even though Daisy is crate trained, and Lilly
will be too, I refuse to have them sleep in their crates at
night. Daisy will sleep on the floor the majority of the
night but occasionally she gets scared or needs affection
and I know it feels so good for her to pop on the bed for
just awhile and cuddle next to us. Thank God for king sized
beds! I didn't go with my husband to pick up Daisy so when
we came to pick Lilly up I was very impressed with your
facility. My only problem was that I wanted to take all
those pups home. I will be back. For now though, I was
wondering if I could get pictures of Daisy and Lilly's
parents and grandparents. I am so curious to see pictures of
Legend, who is Lilly's grandfather. I went on your website
but you took out the pics of the rotties, which I would
occasionally go to so that I could just look at those
beautiful creatures. I want you to be assured that I will
forever love and take great care of my babies, because aside
from my children (and of course my husband), they are truly
the best thing that has come into my life. And when my
children are a little older and more self sufficient, I plan
to pursue my interest in rotties further. From the bottom of
my heart; Thank you

If a person wants a loyal true companion, forget everything
else and consider a Doberman from Kimbertal Kennels, you
will never regret having one. I am again going to obtain a
Doberman from Kimbertal Kennels, after having so much
enjoyment in the past with my Doberman's purchased through
them. The sad part is the wait, for the puppy of my
choosing, its difficult to replace the loss of a loved one.
A person does not know, what he or she has missed, until you
have your first Doberman Pincher, then it is obvious very
quick! I have been asked many times over the years, where I
got such a beautiful Doberman Pincher, with pleasure I tell
them. A Doberman Pincher, if one really truly loves
Doberman's,they become an immediate member of the family
from the first time you see the puppy.

Rottweiler, Bold Destiny. My mom and I bought Desi 9 years
ago, and there is nothing int his world i would give to have
my dog taken away. If there is one regret with her that we
did it was fixing her. We bought Desi as " Pet Quality " but
she is an absolutly GORGOUS dog, and we wish now that we
were able to show her. Not only is show pretty, but she is
the sweetest thing in the world. She LOVES babies, getting
groomed. She likes to play with the horses and the cats. The
cats dont really like her though... Thank you for breeding
such a wonderful dog! For pictures of Desi... go to my

because of its instincts survival of the fittest attack
their owners at some point of time but since their traned by

Last week, my dobe Sentry (aka Kimbertal Spirit Warrior CDX)
completed the requirements for her CGC and TDI. In addition,
she earned her first leg of her Novice JWW her very first
time out. Saturday evening, she showed her true Doberman
colors by defending me, my whippet, and my two border
collies from a vicious attack by a loose dog. We were out
for our walk, all my kids were on lead, of course, when this
dog attacked. It had my whippet by the head, then the
hindquarters, shaking and jerking, then my border collies
bolted, the attacker then circled back in front of us and
Sentry was able to grab it by the neck and stop the attack.
My whippet was pretty badly hurt, the border collies were
shook up, and Sentry has a bruise on her chest. If it hadn't
been for my Sentry, I believe my whippet would have been
killed. I do not encourage or condone aggression in my dogs
(or anyone else's!) but I believe my doberman was honestly
protecting us from further injury. I love my Kimbertal
doberman!

My family recently purchased a rottweiler puppy from a
breeder in our local area. We had been wanting a rottweiler
for quite a while but was having a hard time locating a
reputable breeder within our area. Luckily fate smiled down
on us a led us to Judith Poling. We purchased the last of
the litter, a precious little male. As I was looking over
his pedigree papers, I noticed that the name Kimbertal was
very prominent in his lineage, and that's how I came upon
your website. A co-worker mentioned the name Kimbertal in a
conversation we were having about dogs, and I told her that
Thor's mother was a Kimbertal, she suggested I check out
your website. Thor's mother is Kimertal's Dal of Jushan and
his father is Bronx Von Gargonious. He is absolutely the
sweetest dog I have ever owned. While his size is
intimidating, at 6 months he's already about to tip the
scale at 90 lbs., he is loving, gentle and very loyal. I have
no doubt that he would protect me to the bitter en!d, but at
home he is the baby. He is extremely smart as well, having
house trained him in just a week. Everyone in our family
adores him, especially my husband. Thor and he have a bond
that is very special. He seems to be able to sense that my
husband is home from work before he ever physically sees
him, and stands at the door waiting to greet him and have
his head rubbed. I can't begin to tell you, how excited I
was to view your website and to know that my dog comes from
such a prestigious background. It is quite obvious that you
and your family take great pride in your dogs.Should we ever
decide to make an addition to our family, I know just where
to go to now!

Dear Ann
Our Chauncey is doing extremely well, before I go any
further I should say we received him June 15th of this year.
He was flown to Bradley Airport...he is so intelligent and I
am very amazed at how alert he is about EVERYTHING.. He is
growing by leaps and bounds,,,he looks terrific....but, here
is my question: we feed Chauncey twice a day. first: between
7 &8 AM we give him 2 cups of Purina 1 for large breed!
with real chicken and a large dollop of cottage cheese,
between 4 & 5 PM he has his second feeding of just 1
&1/2 cups of food no cottage cheese.. he is only
5&1/2 months old and he is already 70 to 75 lbs. I
realize he is of large breed but is he too heavy? we do not
want to encumber him and over-feed him...please let us know
if we are feeding him properly. he has been to class and he
shines all the time. Ann, thank you for being there for Joe
and me. It is a comfort to know we can always count on you
and your wonderful organization. we highly recommend
Kimbertal to all who ask "where did you find him?"

My family and I were fortunate to have the perfect dog -- a
black and rust superior sized male of Kimbertal bloodlines.
Our dog came to us as a two year old when his owner could
not longer care for him due to her health problems. We had
Baron for six wonderful years. Sadly, he passed away last
August -- it broke my heart. The reason I am writing is to
ask if you ever have a client who has to give up their
beloved Doberman through unforeseen circumstances. I would
be interested in adopting another black & rust superior
sized male. I can provide a permanent, loving, home with
undivided attention and exercise.
We would also be interesting in visiting your kennel and
seeing the puppies and the wolves. You have a terrific web
site. Thank you for any information you can give us
regarding adopting one of your wonderful Dobermans.

I bought a black and rust, male Doberman puppy in May 2001,
from Kimbertal. His name is Rambo the Warrior Kimbertal,
really just Rambo. All though we have only had him for about
6 months, we are very very, happy with him. He was shipped
to us so it was a little scary at first. We did see a
picture before his ears were done, but everyone still likes
to "pick the puppy". Well ever since the day we picked him
up at the airport, he has been a great addition to our
little family. Of course, he is now pretty much my son. We
are extremely happy with the decision to go with this
Kennel/Breeder. We have got nothing but compliments on him
by the vet, family, and just random people. Because there
just are no breeders, or good breeders in our area at all,
everyone says he is so beautiful, and since Dobermans are
very rare to see around here. He is our love of our lives.
Our first dog together. He is a wild puppy, so playful, very
very smart, but yet so affectionate! My husband has always
had small-toy-lap dogs. Which are not affectionate like big
dogs in my opinion. Out of everything he can't believe how
lovable this dog is. Rambo although just turned 6 months
old, already is so protective, but he knows when its guests,
and just people. He gets excited to see others, but has the
intelligence to know when someone shouldn't be here. Most of
all, he is just gorgeous! His face just glows! Our vets fall
in love every time they see him. They all want to play with
him when he goes. They know how Doberman breeding around
here is very scarce, and I guess when they see them, there
not as good looking as Rambo! I know of other breeders who
have also bought from Kimbertal to breed there own with.
Overall, we are very happy with our business with Kimbertal
and our decision to buy a puppy from them. And of course,
very happy with Rambo!

First off, my most sincere condolences on the tragedy you
and your family sustained this pst year. My wife and I
returned to your facility with our 4 year old Rottie female
Ruby for stud services. If you remember, Gus was used as the
stud and our litter was known as the "Fantastic Fourteen." A
year and a half later the male puppy we kept, Remington aka
"Remmy", has received 27 weeks of obedience training, earned
his AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification as well as his
Therapy Dog Certification. Remmy is currently enrolled in
the Paw Partners program at the Children's Hospital of
Philadelphia and eagerly shares his loving ways with sick
and hurting children. I would just like to personally thank
you for providing us with your services, information and for
matching Ruby's temperment with that of Gus', thus creating
a litter of healthy, lovable, defect free pups. Remmy
currently weighs approximately 110 pounds, and is the
spitting image of Gus, specifically mirroring Gus' blocked,
full head and face.If ever you wish to see Remmy Lori and I
would be glad to drive him up to the kennel to meet with
you. I know you have received criticism from fanatical AKC
show dog breeders, infact we even received harrassing phone
calls when we were selling our pups, but Remmy is a true
testiment to your facility and to the loving, loyal nature
of the breed. Again, thanks and best wishes.

your loss. My wife and I felt so welcomed when we made the
tour of your kennels, the people were so friendly and really
took their time with us while we were looking at all the
adorable Rottweiller pups. Thanks.

I purchased a doberman puppy from a lady in Memphis,TN that
had purchased a puppy from your kennel. The puppy she
purchased from you was a female black/rust she named
Kimbertals Five Star Krillie--she was out of your Hotai
bloodlines. The puppy I purchased was a male black/rust,
which "Krillie" was bred with a European male out of the v
Norden Stamm bloodlines--he is a nice size dog with
beautiful structure and have been showing him
conformation--he has the best temperament of a male I have
ever seen. I just wanted to tell you that when I get ready
to purchase another doberman I will contact you for info
regarding litters you may have at the time as I want another
doberman with the wonderful temperament my "Leo" has. You
have wonderful healthy dobermans that are good at both
conformation and other competitions. Thank You for the
wonderful breeding you have done. Angela S.

Hi Kimbertal - Again I have to thank you for the greatest
enrichment to our lives..... Jaz is now 1 year old and is
scheduled to enter his first shows in Tampa, Fl. I have been
training him for about 12 weeks in obedience and he is
absolutely the greatest thing since apple pie. You would not
believe the number of comments I have received about him. At
the present time he is about 30 inches at the withers and
weighs 108 pounds. I am trying to keep his weight down. He
has the nicest disposition possible. Attached is one of his
pictures.... Best wishes. Wilson C. C

2.5 weeks ago we purchased a male rottie and he has been a
blessing. He's cute, he's sweet, funny, and has been a dream
in training. Within the first week he was going to the door
letting me know he had to go out. I've taught him to sit
already as well. He is soooooo intelligent. Our family is
certainly blessed to have him be a part of it. Thank
you!

Dear Kimbertal and Linda:
The young Dobe you sent is doing wonderful (CJ), his ears
stood 1 week to the day that Linda dropped us an e-mail. At
5 months this young dog is 75 lbs and full of energy. He has
completed basic obedience through reward (no collar
corrections till he is between12 and 18 months) as well as
man tracking and beginning detection work. He was used on a
recent poaching case when a senior canine was not available.
The poacher hid the knapsack full of poached plant material.
CJ backtracked the suspect and found the knapsack!!!! All
indications are that this fine doberman has outstanding
working skills and above average smarts. He actually reads
me before commands are given. When I walk him after work
neighbors stop me and say he is the most beautiful dog they
have ever seen! Thanks again for your selection and help.

HI, My name is Larry and I wish to sing the praises of my
loving girl Becky , a beautiful 95 LB Red and Rust
Doberman.
I Had a liver transplant two and a half years ago, and upon
leaving the hospital I found myself without friends or
family to help me restart my live. It was pretty hard
climbing stairs and just making it to the store as I had
been bed bound for over two years.
It was at this time I remembered the great friendship I had
many years ago with a Kimbertal dobie named Becky. She was a
red and rust I had in New England, I remembered how much
love she gave and that in times of great depression she was
always there for me.
Well as you can guess I started looking for this kennel
again, hoping that after all this years they still raised
this fine dobie line.
Never did I think I would find them only 45 minutes from my
new in PA. You guess it, down the road I went with the help
of a friend. When I arrived at Kimbertal I found that my
dream had come true, there was a kennel huge my any
standard, well kept, tons of beautiful puppies, great people
to help me find a pup. We talked of the old days when the
great Damisan line danced through the shows and won the won
the hearts of a nation... sadly those days are gone, but the
spirit of the line live on in the new Kimbertal line.
My new Becky is a wonderful companion, she started helping
me ask a support to get out of bed and up from chairs at
only 4 months old, gave me a reason to on outside and most
of all to live again... after all I now had to take care of
this gift from GOD.
I write this letter today of all days when my heart is full
of thanks and wonder that I am still alive and about to
return to Kimbertal to breed my two year old Becky, who is
now a big beautiful girl that is ready to carry on the line
of one of the finest Doberman Lines in America. Now mind you
these are not the little long nosed greyhound looking things
you see in the show ring, but a large, strong, powerhouse of
a dog, able to work hard all day and with a can of food
continue on thru the night, carrying back packs into the
mountains full of food for herself and me, camping, fishing,
alone in the wild without fear that I may hurt myself or
have some transplant problem and have no help.
She had been trained to drag me back to the care. which
reminds me, this line of dogs is just the greatest with
learning anything thing and everything.
Thank you Kimbertal for helping me return to a full
life.

COMMENTS:
Good day to you all!! I've been reading your web site and
following your kennels for years now. I've been interested
in dogs since I could read, and the Rottweiler and Fila have
had my attentions since I can remember. I'll be turning 31
next month. I've had dogs my whole life. When i was 19, on
the streets and a newly recovering drug addict, I acquired
an Aussie. "Panda" stayed with me for 11 years. When he died
in March of 2000, I was not short of devestated. I was
depressed and wouldn't eat. He was my best friend, and now
he was gone. During the time my life was graced with Panda,
I had wanted a Rottie. I read Dog Fancy, attend dog shows,
talk to breeders and yes, I even got up the gumption to
write to your kennel and got more then I bargained for in
information. So when my sister said..."Lets go to the
shelter and pick you out a dog", i laughed and said
whatever. What I didn't realize was that when I got there, I
was claimed by the most beautiful female Rottie I've ever
seen. It took a week of visiting her everyday, sometimes 3
times a day, and when the phone call came that I could take
her home, i was overjoyed with tears. She was a destructive,
hyperactive, barker but I didn't care. After some one on one
obediance and LOTS of love, she's my friend, protector,
companion, and best of all she's the bestcuddler I've ever
had the pleasure of sharing my bed with. I don't know who
her Sire and Dam are, and I don't know where her papers are,
but what a wonderful dog. I also just recently acquired
another Rottie puppy that I rescued from an overly abusive
situation. She is about 3 months old, and was chained to a
garage and fed raw meat to make her mean. I cut her chain
and took off running!!! What a joy. Her new name is Dayzee
May, and she and my 3 year old female Skye are buddies! They
may not have papers but what a blessing to have my home
graced with 2 such wonderful dogs. I hope that in the future
I can meet with you and see your kennels and perhaps,
purchase my next best friend from you. I visit your web site
at least 2 or 3 times a week and this is where I learned of
the fire. My heart and love go out to you and your family of
humans and dogs. Thank you for all the wonderful
information, pictures, and for just being Kimbertal.

COMMENTS: Hello, I was sadened to hear about the fire you
had at your facility. I purchased my dog from Connie 14
years ago. Maxim or Max as he was called was the finest dog
that I have ever known. In his prime he was 31 inches at the
shoulder and 165 pounds, no fat, just very sweet muscle and
brains. He was naturally kind and tolerant of children and
played with my cousins daughter, allowing her to walk him on
his lead without pulling her down or overpowering her. He
was no doubt, the gentlest large dog I have ever owned and
losing him when he was eleven, was devestating to me and all
who knew him. I hope that you are able to recover from the
tragedy of the fire as I would like to someday get another
"Best Friend". Take Care and God Bless.

COMMENTS : I took a chance and typed your kennel name and
came into your site. I am the very proud owner of one of
youe Rotties. We bought Cuma when she was about 1 1/2 yrs.
old. I can not even begin to tell you the attention this dog
attracts every place we take her. People stop and tell us
what a beautiful animal she is. We spent some time living
with my mother-in-law who is 86 yrs old and never had a pet
living in the house. She could'nt beleive how great Cuma
behaved. Mom used to walk this dog every day around the
neighborhood. Mom said people would be just drawn to Cuma.
Cuma will be 7yrs. old on nov.4th. She has shown my husband
and myself the real meaning of love for one's pet. We would
never purchase from any other kennel but Cuma's welping
kennel. By the way just had her to a new vet since we moved
back to N.J. from N.Y. and the vet asked if Cuma was from
Kimbertal Kennel he said she Looked like a Kimbertal Rottie.
I was very impressed. Bev. C.

We have gotten one of your female dobies on breeder terms
many years ago and kept one of the male puppies, the runt.
However we lost "Dudley" last yr to cancer. He lived to the
age of 14. However I recently became disabled and am sadly
missing our boy. I never worried about being alone because
he always left us know when someone was around. We are sad;y
missing him, and because of an accident three yrs ago that
left me totally disabled, I was asking if you could give us
one again. We'd prefer another male and a puppy. Dudley was
my ears eyes and never left my side. Best qualiuty dog
someone could ask for. We had him professionally obedience
trained and never not one time had problems with him. I need
another because I am not able to walk real well due to my
accident and need another good watch dog for my protection,
while my husband works during the day and am home alone.
Won't you please help me obtaining another one?
Thanks,

Kimbertal-
I purchased my pup through your website. I have always
admired your pups in the ads in the back of various
magazines and when my male passed away I gave you a call and
was so impressed with Bob and all the others I spoke to that
I never had a second doubt about purchasing a pup off the
internet. After all, the selection process for a pet quality
pup is usually never more scientific than "Oh look, he
licked me first" or "this one ran to me when his brothers
ran to their mom" or some other highly emotional but not
very selective reason. This is my sixth Rottie over many
many years all from different breeders and I have never had
a Rottie that stole my heart like "Tug". He is a true fit
for me with his independent but loyal heart and has proven
to be easily trained and as I mentioned before, I never and
I mean never have to worry about his temperment. I can't
tell you how many times I have been stopped by folks when I
am walking him and commented on his beauty and presence. I
will email a picture of him and you can add it to your list
of very satisfied customers. Please keep up the good work.
It is getting so hard to find a true Rottie breeder that has
the breed in mind, not the money.

Dear Bob,
There is no way in the world that one letter could
tell you how our "boys" from KIMBERTAL have enriched our
lives, but we'll try.
First, we greatly appreciate your attention to detail, your
courteous staff, and the ongoing support you and your staff
have shown us! Bob, you made us feel right at home and we
are now dedicated customers for life.
Our Tatonka (superior size rottweiler) is now going to be
seven years old. He is intelligent, gentle, sometimes a big
clown and one of the most loving dogs we have ever owned. He
always takes his cues from us. We mean that if a friend
stops by, he looks at our body language and expression. If
he senses this is a friend, he runs over as if to say
"Hello, Hello, of course you came to see me, I love my
company". But if we are on guard because it is a salesman or
stranger, so is he! And when he gets that vigilant look on
his face.. everyone behaves. Tatonka keeps everyone laughing
with his antics, our family would not be complete without
him.
The second dog we bought is Zeus (superior size Doberman).
Zeus is extremely beautiful and very smart. He has the
energy of a small sun racing through the heavens. Boy is he
athletic!! He loves to show off his athleticism! Zeus is a
big lover and will pout if he doesn't get his measure of
love on any given day. He also invents ways to communicate
with us when we don't understand what he wants. He sleeps
with our daughter and when she doesn't come in by what he
feels is a reasonable hour, he begins to bop the hamper in
his room as if to say "Somebody call her and tell her to
come home - its my bedtime"! If she does come in late, he
"won't talk to her" for a little while until he finds it in
his big heart to forgive her.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for these wonderful
additions to our family. We would be happy to give
references to anyone who is unsure of purchasing these
magnificent animals from you! Should anyone need to talk
with us, our phone number is
(provided on
request). Just ask for Nick or Laura! Thanks
again for everything Bob!

I do not know if you remember, but I was at your kennel just

You have wonderful dogs! About 5 years ago we bought a
Rottweiler that had the Kimbertal bloodline. He was huge
& the biggest baby I've ever seen. Unfortunately, at
about 6 months old, one of our "loving" neighbors shot Moose
because he wandered into the field. We greatly miss him
& we have decided that when the time comes we will visit
Kimbertal Kennels to purchase another puppy. Also, just a
message to all Rottweiler owners...keep your dogs close to
home & if you love them fence your yard or do something
to keep them on your property. There are too many uneducated
people who assume these beautiful dogs are "maneaters" &
they will show them no mercy. It's not the breed that's bad.
It's the peoples hands in which they fall.

human could ask for. I purchased my Dobe, Sam, from your
kennel almost 6 years ago. He is my third Dobe since 1974.
He has been my friend, my pillow, my playmate, my guardian,
my travel companion, my baby since I first set eyes on him.
My friends, children, family and vet all comment on how
"committed" he is to me. We have been through some hard
times together and he's always faithfully stayed at my side
no matter what. It's really unusual but people say we're
like the couple that can finish a sentence for each other. I
know what he wants or needs and he knows the same of me. I
have only had Dobe's since I went out on my own and they
truly are the best of dogs. I would have no other breed. But
this one is special. We will soon be celebrating his 6th
birthday!!! Time goes by so quickly. I will not hesitate to
return to your kennel for another pup. I cannot thank you
enough for this wonderful gift.
Sincerely,
Margaret

Comments: Hi, my name is La Trenda and I own a
Kimbertal Dobie. Her name is Codessa of Greenway and her
father was Captain Kid's Black Hawk. Cody is a blessing to
our household and she and our 3 cats get along great. I
spoke with a pleasant woman when i called over the phone
last week to speak to someone at Kimbertal. We have Cody's
papers and I was able to trace her lineage. Cody may be in
her last days on earth, I am sad to say We are seeing the
vet to get her looked at. She was given to us as a gift a
few years ago by William Kinter. We love her dearly and when
she leaves us we will be very sad. I was asked to send a
picture of her and I will.Thank you for being here to bring
such wonderful dogs to the world! God bless Kimbertal.
Sincerely,
La Trenda D Guardian for Codessa of Greenway

Comments: We just recently got a Fila Brasilerio
replacement and so far so good. The last Fila we had was
great and so far the one we have now is doing really good.
She is very smart and picks up very fast. Our son really
enjoys her. I just have to say that Kimbertal offers a good
guarantee and stands behind it. We know that for sure in
dealing with Kimbertal in the past. Keep up the good
work!

Comments: Growing up my family bought a doberman
from Kimbertal Kennels and she was one of the best dogs
ever!. My husband and I recently had to put our beloved
doberman,*Macy* down. She was wonderful and we miss her
terribly, the house is not the same without her.
After our vacation, in January, we will be ready to have
another one. We'll be seeing you soon.
