Detection Doberman

Dear Mr. Yarnall,

I thought I would send you a note. CJ my detection Doberman from Kimbertal, born 3/12/01, reached a milestone of 400 illegal plant material seizures in September and will go down in K-9 history.

He is featured in the following publications that have covered the marking program that CJ is part of. The L.A. Times, The Washington Post, Wildlife in North Carolina, The Asheville Citizen times, National Wildlife, National Parks Magazine, Charlotte Observer, Native Plants Journal, Mark Trail and lastly in current books on ginseng. The last is Ginseng Dreams by Kristan Johannsen.

CJ received the Superior Service Award at one year and the National Park Ranger Award three years ago given to us as a team.
