Hi Kimbertal,
I just wanted to let you know that I entered Rohan in the UKC show in Perry Georgia this weekend. He did really well and I am so proud of him!
Here's what he won:
3 Best of Winners with competition
3 Best Male
2 First Places
1 Best of Breed with competition
And he won 2nd place in the Guardian Group (against seasoned show dogs, one of which was in heat! - he behaved very well)
Rohan accumulated 95 points in 3 shows! In UKC you need 100 points and 3 wins with competition (Rohan has 4) to become a Champion. Even if your dog is the only one in the ring the judge doesn't have to award them anything. The only losses he had were when he was in the ring with a 3 and a half year old Grand Champion! Our loss during the third show happened right after he broke out into a lope! But considering how young and inexperienced he is he did extremely well. And every one there LOVED him. He never met a stranger. Rohan has an absolutely wonderful temperament .
I can't thank you enough for my boy. He is absolutely wonderful! There just aren't any words adequate to describe how I feel about him. Rohan is a very important part of my family and the 4 girls (all Dobermans) love him too. He is terrific with young puppies and children as well. I was very impressed yesterday when a woman came up to us in a wheelchair. Rohan didn't react at all even though he's never seen a wheelchair before! However, he did stick his nose in her purse looking for a treat or two <GRIN>
I plan on taking him back in September along with two of my other Dobies... I hope he continues to do well......
Thanks again,
Patricia Lawrence

Tiffany and the staff at Kimbertal,
Hey, look, I match my new mom's leather couch! I like it here-I think I fell in a big ole' bowl of pudding. I get lots to eat and I have a dog they call S**** Dog to harass. I run around and around and around my moms quilting table with S**** Dog. I also have a big brown dog-I don't harass her much, but I do play with her and she gives me her dinner if I want it. The neighbors think I am really cute, but if I can't see them I BARK really loud. God knows what they are doing behind that fence. Oh and I eat roses whenever I get a chance-yum. There is a big daddy dog here and I really like him-he is the best. Mostly I play and play and sleep and sleep and get in trouble for trying to take the big brown dog's bones. If I wait long enough she will give it to me. So just letting you know things are going well. I think I've grown double since I left Kimbertal-but I could just be imagining things. Grrr and bark bark to everyone there-dogs and humans alike.
Your friend,
D13A (Eko Bell)

Hi Tiffany & Frank,
Just wanted to give you an update on Diesel, 95BB, a puppy of Eros. He is the most affectionate dog I have ever had. He loves to play.
He is getting bigger; He weighs about 60-65lbs right now at 5 months old, and still thinks he is 21lbs like when I brought him home.
He is a delight to have as part of our growing family. My mom who is afraid of big dogs loves this one to pieces. I can't believe it.
Hope all is well.
Nicole Valora
I just wanted you to see how well my new Kimbertal puppy, Sophie, (d6N) is getting along with my 5yr old Kimbertal male.

Hi Kimbertal,
Rohan has certainly been a joy to have! He is so smart and very sociable. I'm writing to let you know that last night he passed his AKC Canine Good Citizenship at 9 months old! I am so proud of him. He has been a "mama's boy" ever since he first ran and jumped into my arms at the kennels in November. I've enclosed three pictures of him taken last week. Rohan turns heads every where he goes. I've decided to try my hand at showing him in the confirmation ring before I enter him in agility competitions. He is a 90 plus pound "lap dog." <grin>. Every thing about Rohan is wonderful, from his looks to his temperament. Thank you so much, as he is a true joy to have in my home! I'll keep you posted on his other accomplishments in the future.
Sincerely,
Patricia L.

Frank and Tiffany and staff at Kimbertal Kennels,
We just want to say thank you for everything. You made buying Sadie a pleasure, not to mention all the help you gave us when we called with some crazy questions. I tell everyone I meet when walking her about you. You're great.
Thank you,
Melody and Charlie B.
p.s. &endash; We'll be up to visit with a cake soon. Until then, thank you.
Dear Kimbertal,
We are the proud Pack Leaders of Kimbertal's Blaze of Glory. (R9FF) She has brought so much joy to the whole family. Everyone compliments on how beautiful and balanced she is. We take her everywhere we go. She loves people of all kinds. Others are amazed of how stocky she is at only 4 months old. My husband goes to work and says she grows more and more in the 10 hours he's gone.
Our daughter, Brooke was born with Arthrogryposis (in short, she has physical limitations) and life for her has not all been peaches and cream. Brooke has gone through casting of legs and feet, surgeries, and now Kafo bracing on both legs. She is now almost 8. Brooke has always wanted a dog but we kept putting it off. We heard about Kimbertal and how wonderful you and your Rottweilers are. We decided to visit you and see for ourselves. That day, we only came to look and talk to you. However, we immediately fell in love with R9FF. So needless to say she came home with us that day. Brooke has been so happy having Blaze in her life. Blaze has brought Brooke to a new level of happiness we had yet seen. They are so happy together and basically inseparable. Brooke really enjoys teaching Blaze tricks and rubbing her tummy. Blaze enjoys it just as well. Blaze loves taking walks but Brooke and Blaze agree to leave that to Mom and Dad for now.
I could go on and on about how wonderful Kimbertal's Blaze of Glory is and about how much of a blessing she has been to our family but I will end this letter in saying THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to have the dog of our dreams. We show great gratitude and appreciation. I have attached photos of Blaze of Glory.
We will see you soon.
Thanks Again.
Sincerely,
Mike, Tara, and Brooke

Dear Frank at Kimbertal,
I just wanted to thank you for the time you and your wife spent with my family the weekend before last. I was the one with the two daughters (my youngest is Chinese if that rings a bell). As I mentioned to you my 6 year old has a rare seizure disorder. This Saturday afternoon my wife and I were upstairs gathering laundry and my youngest called up to us saying that Elizabeth was having a seizure. My wife made it there before I did and there was our Doberman puppy "Chester" right by her side watching her the whole time. They have been nearly inseparable ever since we brought him home. My wife and I can not put into words how happy we are with him. It was you who saw things in him as opposed to another pup that you felt would be a better match with our family and I can not thank you enough for your sound advice. It is reasons like this that I am a second generation customer. When the sad day comes when "Lucy" (our female who we felt compelled to rescue from a horrible home) leaves us we will be back.

Dear Kimbertal,
We purchased our doberman male, Angelo, last year. He just turned 13 months old. He weighs about 116 lbs and 29 inches tall. He was son of Lamborghini, and born Feb. 10 2007. He's been a blessing to our family. He is very intelligent and playful. And boy he has the temper of a baby. We trust him around strangers and kids. Thank you. Please let me know if you received this photo.
Thanks.

Dear Kimbertal,
Hello again. I bought 84F this Nov. Reign is HUGE now he turned 6 moths on the 4th and weighed 70 on that day! He is gorgeous!!!! I take him everywhere with me. He loves to go jogging now that it is warmer. I need to get him a new harness to pull the kids though, he has grown too large for the large on I already bought him!
Thanks!

Dear Kimbertal,
Seven years ago I came and purchased my first Rottie from you, my trainer who has dealt with you told me I would be going to get a second one, I told him he was nuts. 8 months later I came for my second one.
I regret to say that I have now purchased my third Rottie from you, only because I had to put my best friend to sleep, it was the hardest thing to do. No matter how bad he ever was, I could yell at him for 20 minutes, as soon as I called him he came and gave me the biggest, wettest kiss you could imagine no anger or hatred toward me. I loved that dog literally till the end and still do.
The pup we came and got from you on 2/3/08 wasn't to replace him but to fill a void. Brutus can not and will not ever be replaced, but Junior (as I named him) is as close as you can get.
I want to thank you all for the best seven years of my life, except for my two girls being born. Putting Brutus down was harder than my divorce.
Thank you for all that you do and the quality of best friend that you produce. I will be back again.

Hello,
I purchased the blue & rust doberman off of you a few weeks ago. He is doing great. He is such a sweet guy. He's really growing fast. I wanted to tell you thank you for this great puppy. And say that I was very impressed with your facility , it was so clean & all of the puppies looked great !!! Everyone was very friendly, & I left with so many informational papers you gave me to help me out with my new guy. I took him to vet he got a neg. fecal , & an excellent bill of health .I have owned Dobermans for 20+ yrs & they have all had Kimbertal lines but I've never purchased one from you. I would not hesitate to come back up & get another one. This puppy has a lot to look forward to as I plan on showing him. He starts his beginners' class in Jan 2008. THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! WE JUST LOVE HIM!!!!!!

Dear Frank and everyone at Kimbertal,
Kent has mellowed greatly over just the past week &endash;it took a long time! He tends to 'lord' over everyone, people and dogs included, so he is very aptly named! He weighs over 80 pounds, is 29 inches at the shoulder and is almost six feet tall when he stretches to reach the top of the rail. He is a wonderful puppy, thank you, Frank!!! He understands English and Russian, loves walks, people, children, balls, and any kind of food delicacy. One of his favorite meals is the Cesar &endash; Puppy Chicken, and his favorite desert is a natural multigrain dog cookie with a peanut butter soft center, (homemade) although he eats many different foods and treats, apples, carrots, etc. He eats from ceramic bowls on placemats, sometimes eats from a table spoon, or likes us to hold the dish! and does not like anything to fall on the floor.
Every other week at his training class, he is the best dog in the group, on alternate weeks, all the other dogs get extra points for sitting still while Kent does his best to distract them!
He goes to Camp Bow Wow five days a week while we work, 6:30 AM until 6 PM and for this month Sundays from 6 AM &endash; 4 PM.
One day we will bring him to see you.
Love from all,
D. Golden, MD
Dear Kimbertal,
I am officially a lifelong customer. I have grown up with Dobermans all my life, my aunt was a breeder in Indiana and when she stopped breeding doberman I was looking for the best doberman breeder in the US and I found Kimbertal. I adopted Jake from your kennel in January of last year and he is 11 months old and 88lbs. Anyone interested in getting a doberman needs to consider Kimbertal. I can't count the times I have called the kennel for help and the staff is always helpful and really cares for their dogs and clients, not to mention they really are THE BEST Dobermans out there, and I can say that confidently.
Jake is great with kids including babies, listens very well even for a puppy, and his size and stance turns heads everywhere we go. I can't thank you guys enough, I know I made the right decision, I hope others that visit your site do the same. My girl, Tessa, was not from Kimbertal, and when you put the two side by side you can really see the Kimbertal difference. I look forward to working with you guys for years to come!
Thank you so much!

Dear Kimbertal,
I hope all is well with everyone there. I just want to thank you for Bullet. I can't begin to tell you all the good he has done me. Out of all the dogs I've lived with, seen, or trained, I've never seen this quality in breeding, though I've read of it. I've bred dogs before thinking that I was doing it right, but I'll never breed another, without you alls guidance. I've spoiled him just a tad, but he's healthy, good looking, loyal, loving and smart as a whip. He says to tell all "hello" and that he loves the weather here so far (I'm sure he'll say more after a full year). Thanks again and have a good day.

P.S. I feel like I should send more money, but don't wait on it. Ha-ha

Dear Kimbertal,
We purchased a female puppy, D481, out of Lamborghini. She is wonderful. We love her so much. My daughter works with her daily to show her in competitive obedience, she works with her an hour every single day. You would not believe how good this Dobie is doing! She is amazing. So smart. There is such a connection. She will be ready to show for her CD in a few months. We plan to show her through a UDX and maybe on to a AKC OTCh. I have trained a dog to an OTCh before so I know the work it takes but our Dobie from Kimbertal has so much potential.
We prove a great home - a walk in the morning and a long walk in the pm. My daughter works every day training our Dobie. Lyric has been such a wonderful addition to our home. We love her so much. She is so smart-it amazes me. She truly wants to please and learns everything we ask of her.
We hope to bring Lyric back to breed when she is old enough. At 6 months, she is HUGE (55lbs) and absolutely beautiful - great angulation, a lot of bone, stunning. We are members of our local kennel club and everyone is amazed with Lyric. We have referred several people to Kimbertal. She is an absolute ambassador for the breed!
Thanks,
J. M.
Dear Kimbertal Kennels,
We are writing you regarding our Lucy. We had decided that we were going to bring a dog into our lives. With some convincing from my husband, we decided on a doberman and we had the great fortune of obtaining our baby girl from Kimbertal over 8 years ago. Today was Lucy's 8 1/2 year birthday. We lost Lucy last night to sudden death. There are just no words to describe our devastation. Our telephone has been ringing all day as the word spread among our family and friends to express sadness in her passing. You see, Lucy was a big part of not just our lives but of all our family and friends who shared in their love for her. She was the very best we could of ever hoped for. She was ever so loving and sweet. Lucy was diagnosed 5 months ago with serious heart condition. We tried every method of treatment in hopes of sustaining her wonderful life for as long as we could.
Thank you, Kimbertal for bringing this wonderful animal into mine and my husband's lives. Lucy had the temperate of an angel. She was also so gorgeous that just yesterday, on one of our walks a gentleman stopped to admire her beauty. Again, we want to thank all of you at Kimbertal for enriching our lives with Lucy. Should we see through our grief and decide to grace our lives with another dog, we will call you in hopes that this wonderful experience could be duplicated.
Thank you again for bringing us such a joy, which we will miss and will never forget for the rest of our lives.
Sincerely,
Dan & Theresa M

Good Afternoon Kimbertal,
I'm following up on an e-mail that I previously sent regarding Dahmer Von Rolex, whom we purchased from your kennel.
Dahmer turned 13 years old on July 9th, 2007. Unfortunately, due to old age, we had to put him to sleep that very same day. It was very heartbreaking and the entire family is in mourning.
We wanted to thank you for such a wonderful family member. My sons feel like they have lost a brother. Dahmer was a true "Gentle Giant," and was loved by the entire neighborhood. He loved his family, little children, his two cats and stuffed animals. He lived for his family and to be loved. Dahmer never barked, except when he saw a hot air balloon in the sky. They just didn't belong there! He would go to sleep with my husband and I every night, but not before we covered him up with his favorite blanket.
I can't begin to describe what a beautiful, gentle dog he was. Dahmer was just one of a kind. We miss him dearly, but knowing Dahmer, he's up in heaven having a good time. We were truly blessed.
Regards,
Deb, Todd, Scott and Trevor Bonner.

Dear Kimbertal,
Almost 13 years ago, my son purchased a female Doberman puppy from your kennel (8/2/94 from Can. Ch. Captain Kid's Black Hawk and Kimbertal's Dolma). He named her Porsche. He was unable to care for the dog and gave it to my wife and me to take care of when she was about 2 ? years old. We already had an older Doberman named Turbo, also purchased from your kennel (3/24/81 from Ch. Kroysing's Duke Ellington and Kimbertal's Manson DeVille).
The two of them were beautiful dogs. Turbo was a great companion with a gentle and compassionate personality. She died about 10 years ago at the age of 14. Porsche was always a character and quite entertaining. She passed peacefully in her sleep last week just 2 months shy of her 13th birthday. Even though she was hit by a car when she was 6 months old and had a metal plate in her leg, she was always happy, full of energy and ready to go!
Porsche owned our living room area and always slept on our velvet couch. Her favorite game was stealing things (an empty box, a bag of chips, a box of tissues, a bag of clothes, even a 2" wide yellow pages phonebook!) and then arranging and rearranging everything in a straight line. She would lie down and guard her acquired items until someone came over and acknowledged her efforts. She also had a basket full of plush musical toys that she would play for my daughter every morning before she went to work. Her favorites included a skunk that played "Wild Thing", a bear that sang "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" and a monkey that whistled "I love you!" She cared for her plush toys as if they were her own pups. She'd also pester us for a piece of bread every morning which she hid in her toy basket or under the couch pillows. She'd bring it out later in the day and walk around in circles humming until someone tried to take it away from her.
When she wasn't nudging my wife to share her canned peaches or hiding under the covers when it thundered, her favorite past times were watching the neighborhood from her window and going for a ride in the backseat of my car. When she got out of the car, she'd pick up her leash with her mouth and carry it back into the house. She was an incredibly smart dog. You only had to show her something once and it became a habit (sometimes good, other times not so good!).
I can't even begin to tell you the laughter and amusement this extraordinary dog provided to us on a daily basis. Words can't even describe how quiet the house is without our Porsche.
When my wife and I are ready, we will definitely come back to your kennel to purchase our next companion.

Dear Mr. Yarnall,
I cannot begin to tell you how much my husband and I hold you in esteem for your major contribution to the Doberman breed and your pure professionalism in the dog world.
Although Kimbertal Kennel had been producing quality Dobermans from top bloodlines since 1963 I was not aware of your efforts and accomplishments until 1970 when I began to breed Dobermans in earnest. If I could emulate any breeder at that time you were my choice, because you did everything in your breeding program the right way and the well deserved notoriety and success came to a man who deserved it. The notoriety and success of those wonderful years pale to your accomplishments and contribution to the Doberman breed today. Mr.Yarnall you have made it possible for dedicated breeders like myself to have the "best of the best" bloodlines in our breeding programs, you have brought the best of Europe to us and unselfishly shared with us the fruits of your labors. The great significance, magnitude and scope of your breeding program thru your wonderful dogs will have a positive effect on the genetics of our wonderful breed for many years to come.
As I mentioned to you in one of our conversations, " a real breeder is an artist who creates because of their insatiable creative nature and whose thirst to nurture shows in the demeanor of their creation."
Thank you, Mr. Yarnall, for our four Kimbertal Dobermans who are the essence and epitome of the breed in every way.
Thank you for your unselfish dedication to the Doberman breed.
Thank you for your great contribution to the Doberman breed
Thank you for mentoring and sharing for the future and well being of the Doberman breed.
Thank you for the legacy of the Kimbertal Doberman that will live on well past our time.
Thank you for your example of conducting yourself as a refined and kind gentleman, a true ambassador and shining example of how we all should conduct ourselves in the dog world.
Respectfully and Gratefully
O.S./V.A. Dobermans
I know that everyone who had the honor of knowing Aristo truly misses him, I wish I had taken the opportunity to meet this great and good hearted soul .

Dear Kimbertal,
I am really satisfied with the Doberman we purchased from Kimbertal 8 years ago. Rusty Von Kimbertal is a super specimen living in Puerto Rico. He is very intelligent and a member of the family. The best dog I ever had. He is such a specimen that he appeared on the local Imagen Fashion Magazine in an article about people and their pets.
I can't wait to buy another Dobe from Kimbertal.
Sincerely,
Alberto Fernandez

Hello Kimbertal,
I just wanted to make contact with you folks concerning my Rottweiler. I came to you in 1999 to purchase a dog. I had just lost my three Rottie's in a terrible accident, and was not able to live without a dog. I came down, chose my puppy, and left as happy as I could be under the circumstances. I knew at that time I could never replace the dog, which was amazing, or the bitch that I had had, nor the pick of their first and only litter, which I kept. I brought my Kimbertal Rottie up the best I could and loved him dearly. I can now say, as time has healed the wounds of the lost dogs and I have a mature, handsome, and awesome dog, that he is the best animal I have ever had the privilege to even know, let alone possess. I do not know his AKC# off hand, but he is Kimbertal's Risky Business (Gunther). Thanks for a great dog and you will be seeing me soon when I finally come down to find a mate for this wonderful animal.
Thanks again,

Hello all at Kimbertal,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Kimbertal for my Dobe pup, who is more than meeting all my expectations. He is your Dankan pup D23B, whelped 11/3/06. His registered name is now Kimbertal Rough and Reddy, better known around here as Jake.
When I contacted you, I told you I wanted the "biggest and sweetest" red male available, and I have certainly gotten what I asked for. On his 4 mos. birthday yesterday, he stands 21 inches at the shoulder, and weighs 48 pounds. He is gorgeous, and his temperament is terrific- very sweet and loving in a super-exuberant Dobe pup way. He loves everyone he sees, and our Vet and his staff love to see him come in the door! Our vet is very impressed with what a sound and sweet dog he is.
He is very intelligent, learns quickly, but of course is a "bull headed" as most Dobe pups are, especially when it comes to dropping something he wants to chew on! He has learned basic manners and commands, (sit, down, wait, off, etc.) and is good about them most of the time, except when the enthusiasm takes over, as one would expect at just barely 4 mos. We hope to start puppy kindergarten soon, and go on with obedience training after that.
Most impressive at his age, he has instinctively learned the difference in how to behave with my husband, who has Parkinson's disease, and how he can behave with those of us who can move well--he is much gentler with my husband than with the rest of the world at large!
So thank you again for my wonderful Jake-- I am looking forward to years of fun, companionship and love from my big red Dobe.
Sincerely,
Bev Hagberg

Dear Kimbertal Kennels,
It was a little over 10 years ago that a beautiful puppy was born.
Our family had always wanted a full bred Doberman but couldn't afford it.
My daughter who was 11 at the time saw an add from your kennel offering a Doberman puppy on breeders terms. We jumped at the chance and it was one of the best decisions of our life.
We named her Shanna and she had 3 beautiful litters. We kept one of the pups from the second litter.
It is with a broken heart I send this letter because we lost our beloved dog
a few days ago. She spent a week at the vets after emergency surgery but died the night before we were due to take her home. I wanted nothing more than to have her home with us again but I didn't get my wish.
I am not sure if Bob Senior or Junior is still involved with Kimbertal but I felt I had to let someone know what a blessing Shanna was to us for 10 years.
Thanks for making our memories possible.

We bought our Doberman in 2002 and couldn't be happier. As you can see, Shotgun, is one of the family. I have never seen a dog as large as he is (105 lbs) be so docile around our children and their friends. For never being obedience trained you would never know it. When he was a puppy my girls would dress him up and put him in a baby stroller. He loved the attention and getting his nails painted. He loves to be around everyone and especially loves rides in the van.
Thanks for such a wonderful dog. Truly, the memories we are building with him are priceless.

Dear Kimbertal,
I wanted to drop you a line and tell you thank you for Zeb (D63A). It has been 2 years since I bought him and he has turned out wonderful. He is smart, loving, and on of the best dogs I have ever had. We will be going into showing in obedience in the spring. We had to put it off for awhile due to another little man in our lives, the grandson. But we are on track now. We still have a little more training to do but we are enjoying it the whole time. Attached is a picture of Zeb and he has grown up into a fine looking boy. I hope you and yours will have a Merry Christmas. Just wanted to say thank you and look for us in the paper, we might surprise you.
Thanks again

Dear Kimbertal,

October 22nd when we picked him up he was 26 lbs He is very active and extremely intelligent .His ears are doing very well he still doesn't like them taped .We are both very happy with him .Every time he is out in public people stop their cars to complement him.
Thank You

Dear Mr. Yarnall,
Thank you for taking the time and expense, the serious concern as a dedicated breeder to share information that you have acquired. In the close-to-thirty years that I have been an exhibitor and breeder, I have never encountered such an altruistic act on behalf of fanciers in general. You are to be commented. I am very impressed.
I have made copies of your letter and sent one to my veterinarian here in Sacramento. He is a very dedicated person with the best "paw-side" manner I have ever encountered. He also has direct contact with breeders who come from as far as Santa Cruz and San Jose (4 hours and 4 hours respectively), and parts of Nevada to consult with him, in addition to treating the major portion of show dogs here in the valley.
Additional copies are also going out to various newsletters in my breed and other clubs, all-breed and single-breed.
Again, thank you for contacting me and sharing your news.
Most sincerely,
B.J.H

Dear Kimbertal,
I am sitting looking at my pc screen not knowing how to start. The pain in my heart is so deep; I know it will never stop. As you see we had to say goodbye to my best friend, my savior, last night. His name was Maxx; he was the son of Junior Thunder. He was my first Rottie and the best friend that ever owned me. He was 6mo. old when I spotted him sitting alone in the Rottie barn at Kimbertal. It was love at first sight. He grew to be the best, sweetest being as he did not know he was a DOG. He, from the day we brought him home, would get up in the middle of the night to check on me as he slept on the floor along side of my bed. About two years ago Maxx and I were outside in the yard when the neighbors Pitbull came into our yard. The pit came at me and Maxx came and placed himself between that dog and me. He did not even try to defend himself as the other dog was coming at him. We both managed to get inside safely. If not for his unselfish act I am not sure of the outcome. His love and devotion for me and our family was unwavering to the end. The tests revealed a tumor in his belly and when the seizures would rack his body and his weight dropped 4 pounds in one week I had to say Goodbye to the BEST Rottweiler EVER. Maxx was 8 and a half years old, but in my heart he will always be that beautiful sweet baby that I got at Kimbertal.

Hello,
I purchased 'Warlock' from Jessie Lewis in Denver, Co while I he was training me to become a licensed k-9 trainer. I do not know who the original owner of the dog was but I had him for several great years.... he passed away at the age of 8, I have never had a better dog.
Warlock was trained by Jessie in all forms of police work including narcotics and bomb detection. Warlock was outstanding at every thing he did. He was also affectionate and loyal; safe in any situation. He would defend me at the drop of a hand command, and become as gentle as a baby in mid stride with one word. Jessie would say, "...ya might find one good dobe in a hundred and he's one in a million." After owning 'Matlock' as my mother Nancy called him, I would have to agree.
Thank You,
Travis E.
I purchased a female Doberman from you in the early 1980ties and I am sorry I can not remember the exact year. Perhaps 1981 or 82. I registered her as Princess Polly Wally Doodle. (Please don't cringe at that) Polly was with me until 1995 and every day with her was a blessing for me. She was not my dog, she was my best friend and I loved her more than I could ever explain to anyone. Even after 10 years I still grieve for her. She was perfect in every way possible.
When I called you, you asked what I wanted in a dog. I told you I wanted disposition and looks, and drove to Kimbertal the following Saturday. I was incredibly impressed with your wonderful kennel and its cleanliness and organization and the helpfulness and friendliness of every person there.
God surely smiled on me that Saturday for as I walked into your kennel I had no idea how I was ever going to choose from all the adorable Dobe puppies. As I stopped to look at each litter with their little paws up on the half door and their little tongues panting, I couldn't help but notice one litter that had a female who was a bit larger than the rest and who kept pushing her litter mates away so she could be the only one to be viewed. You said that I shouldn't worry about choosing a puppy because it was apparent that a puppy had already chosen me. How true that was.
Polly was due to be shipped to the Virgin Islands as a show dog that same day, but the night before had chewed the stitches out of her tail which had to be redocked, making it too short for the show ring. How lucky it was for me that she did for Polly grew into a magnificent dog; beautiful on the outside and beautiful in her heart. Although I had exceptionally good dogs all my life, Polly was an entirely different experience and I think a great deal of this had to do with your careful breeding program as well as something indescribable in her soul.
Before we left Kimbertal, you placed shredded newspaper on the front seat floor in case the puppy got sick. No worry there. Polly spent the ride home in my arms as she began to make her way into my heart. And there she stayed, and will always remain.
I have written you several thank you letters in an attempt to thank you for my wonderful dog. I will never heal the hole in my heart that she left when she passed away. I do not know of a soul who did not love her, and I comfort myself thinking of her running in green fields in heaven and hope that she will remember me if I get there too.
I want to get another Doberman in the near future and I am writing this letter to thank you and to ask for your help. I would like to get a puppy as close to Polly's bloodlines as possible; but somehow, somewhere I have lost her registration and her pedigree. Her father was Chocolate Kisses who I was told, was one of your favorites. He was a huge and beautiful dog but one that you said was too large for the ring. His disposition was supposed to be superior.
Polly's mother's name was Jade and that's all I can remember.
My question is this: How can I find out the pedigree of her parents? Would the AKC still have Polly's registration? Would they have her pedigree or would you have it? Finally, if I can get the pedigree would it ever be possible to look at the bloodlines and find a puppy you have that would be a strong descendant? I would very much appreciate an answer on this and hope that you can direct me on the best way to obtain this information. Although I now live in North Carolina, I would still only look to Kimbertal for another puppy. I say this because of the wonderful impression your entire organization made and because I feel any puppy fortunate enough to be part of the Kimbertal program has a built in guarantee that it will be superior in every way.
Thank you for any help you can give me.
Sincerely,
Linda T.

Hi there,
We purchased a super sized red Dobie form you over 12 years ago. His name is Dahmer Von Rolex Vounderdog, and bless his heart, he is still going strong.
We were curious, especially because of Dahmer's size, what is the record for the oldest living dobie from your kennel?
I can't begin to tell you how wonderful Dahmer is. He is the best dog! He loves kids, his 2 cats and is a gentle giant. He never barks, except when there is a hot air balloon in the air. Our dog is truly loved and babied. Kids still take him on h is 5 house walk (he can't go much further). We actually cover him up and turn the fan on in the bedroom for him to go to sleep at night.
When the time is right we will end up getting another puppy from you. But for now, every day that Dahmer lives on is truly a blessing.
Regards,
Deb B.

I wanted to add this comment about "Dobe's being the
Cadillac of Dogs."sorry, but that is wrong. They are the
"Mercedes-Benz" of dogs. I'm looking for another Red Dobe since one
of mine died Sept. 21, 2006, very unexpected during surgery. My 10
year old Red Male was the Father and misses being without another "4
legged buddy". The mother died last year. This is the first time in
many years that we have had an "only child". Feel free to add this to
the website.
Thanks,
Mary A. (Red Dobe mom since 1980)

Dear Mr. Yarnall,
We just wanted to thank you for everything you ALWAYS do for us. My husband & I drove to you kennels on June 4th & picked up a female black doberman from your stock since you so generously agreed to sell us one!
We named her Jade & she has filled a void
in our lives. The drive from Pittsburg was worth every second of our
time. We THANK YOU very much!

Dear Frank,
It was great seeing you when Emma and I stopped to visit Kimbertal a few weeks ago. I swear, Emma remembered where she was. She was really pulling me towards the kennels as if to go visit her kennel mates.
During that visit, I promised to send you a picture from those I had professionally taken. I'm enclosing one of the pictures that I think really captures Emma's spirit. This picture was taken at just under 11 months. Isn't she outstanding!
I am having a blast with this dog. And I really, really thank you for producing such a fine animal with great companion. I can't imagine what I did without her!
Thank you,
Marilyn H.
Have never owned a Doberman before and
I have heard all kinds of bad things said about these animals. After
a friend introduced me to his dog I realized that these things that I
had heard were a myth. They are one of the most beautiful and
majestic breeds that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting
with. Very smart and well tempered. A beautiful animal to watch in
action. I hope that soon I will be contacting you for my own pet. I
have a 140 acre farm here in Ga. and its a great place for dogs to
live run and enjoy. I am definately an animal fanatic. I enjoyed
visiting your site. You definately know what your doing with your
breed stock.
Sincerely,

Purchased a Doberman from you last year. Our "Lady Catherine's Quest"
is the best dog we have ever had. I have three children ages 3, 5,
and 10 and even my three year old can control her. A very loveable
and obedient companion.
Thank You

Hello I am writing this as therapy for last night we had to put our
12 year old dobie to sleep. I can't speak to anyone right now because
I am too emotional, you don't have to read this, but it is making me
feel a bit better. We bought him from you in August of 88. His father
was Cresthill's Heaven Help Us and his mother was Kimbertal'sEdmetta.
We named him Ladner's big ego but his real name was Baby. We had lost
out Malamute about a month before and we had gone down to you mainly
for the ride not to buy a Dobie, as a matter of fact my wife was a
bit Leary about the breed. But when we saw a superior size Dobie I
wanted one. We had a collie and a Malamute in the past and at that
time we had a female Shepherd mix. During the trip home all my wife's
fears started to go, Baby sat on her lap put his big paws around her
neck and except for an occasional lick never moved. When we got home
my daughters were surprised at the big puppy with the tape on his
ears. They thought he was ugly but the fell for him as soon as he
licked them. The real love came as soon as Baby met our Shepherd. She
owned him after two minutes. They were together for the next 11 years
until she died. My daughters often said the never thought the pup
with the tape would grow to be the magnificent animal he became. He
was 30 in at the shoulder 125 of solid muscle. Still he never came
close to hurting a person or animal, that includes cats dogs and a
little 7 pound Pom we have had he was always a gentle giant. He got
Wobblers about a year and half-ago but with pills and trips to a
chiropractor he was still leading a good life. The only way to sum up
this dog is perfect. Perfect in looks and personality. I can't
imagine being without him, there is a hole in my sole that can never
be filled, but my wife who was afraid of Doberman's said we were
honored to have lived with a perfect animal. I know these dog are
your business, but I still want to say thank you!

"Both my boyfriend, John and I, love our two beautiful Dobermans
(both from Kimbertal Kennels) and take great pride in the fact they
came from your kennels... I have had many breeds of dogs but I have
never had a more loving dog than a Doberman... I wish you great
success for your breeding program and wish we could be part of
it."

"It has been awhile since I last wrote so I thought I'd drop you a line from Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. Thor is now 2 years and from the photos, you can see he is in good health. I believe he is the only Rottweiler in Senegal. Thor is a very good example of what a Rottweiler can look like. He is a good advertisement for Kimbertal.

"About 3-1/2 years ago ago I acquired a Doberman Pinscher puppy from your kennel. She completed the requirement for a CDX in three consecutive shows. Carmen loves obedience work, it provides her with a way to "show off" and be a "ham" at the same time. She's a very delightful dog to work with and a very loving pet".

"Just thought I'd write a short note that the
puppy is doing fine and adapting well. It was our first time doing
business with a kennel and we were very surprised and pleased. You
left a lasting impression. Your kennel is clean and the people seem
to care about the animals and treat them well.
We are thinking about "adding on" sooner or later. And we will keep
you in mind definitely. You will be the ones we call to make the
arrangements to come and get one again. Just though I'd let you know
how he is and what we think. Thanks again, he sure is a lot of
fun!
P.S. We call him "Pride" because we're proud of him and he is
obviously proud of himself, too! (At least he acts that
way.)"

"On a recent vacation in Alaska, I stopped at a railroad crossing while a long train passed by. I got out of the car to stretch my legs and noticed a car behind mine with a Rottweiler in the front seat. We struck up a conversation and we were amazed to discover we had gotten our Rotties from Kimbertal Kennels. It seems that wherever I travel throughout the U.S. everyone has heard of Kimbertal Kennels. I can't tell you how delighted I am with my dog."

"I am writing this letter to you first off to thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a beautiful and loving puppy. He is more than I could have hoped for. Took him to his first fun match... and out of 8 males he took first place and out of 8 males and 7 females he took the best breed... again, I want to whole heartily thank you so much for such a beautiful and intelligent specimen of your Dobermans... have had many compliments on him."

"In December I bought a female Rottweiler puppy from you. I would like to tell you that I am very pleased with the dog you sent me. She has a temperament that you dream about; sweet and gentle with children, always obedient, and protective only when she needs to be."

"I purchased a male oversized black and tan pup... went on to compete in the Eastern Regionals, Nationals and Schutzhund. He was the most intelligent and sensitive dog I have ever had the pleasure of working with... this particular Kimbertal Dobe was more than just a family member. Because of Jake's temperament and superiority in obedience competition he was my school's demo dog. To this I always recommend Kimbertal very highly."

"Just a short note to tell you all how delighted we are with our Kimbertal Dobie. He is the best natured dog we've ever had. He gets along famously with our female Dobie, (the prime objective), and all family and friends. Our vet says he's one of the best looking males he's seen in his 25 years of practice. Thanks!"

"We received our new puppy on February 23, 1990. She is by far, the most friendly, outgoing puppy we have ever had.. I think she is just what the doctor ordered to help mend a broken heart. I have been suffering depression since Chloe's sudden death. It's hard for some people to imagine how attached you can get to a dog. To those people, I say, you've never owned a Dobe... We appreciate your generosity in replacing Chloe, with this beautiful little pup. We did not expect to have her replaced, and are overwhelmed with gratefulness. Thank you again."

"His Majesty the King of Morocco asked me to take care of "KIM" which was in Agadir Morocco until recently. He will stay with me for around six months for obedience, defense, etc... Do you have any suggestions concerning his training in relation to his heredity? After the training, KIM will go back to Agadir. Dr. Michael Plantier, the private Physician of the King gave me your address and he was the one who picked up KIM at your kennel... Please send me some information about your dogs, prices, etc... Do you have a FAX number? I hope to hear from you very soon."

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the woman who arranged shipment so quickly that we received him before Christmas. Thor is growing up into a fine looking dog. "I am am writing to thank you for the Fila
puppy as a replacement on February 26, 1990. I have had other puppies
from your kennel and have always been very happy with what I have
received. Also, any problem or question I might have had was answered
immediately, which is more than I can say about other kennels I have
dealt with prior to going to Kimbertal for a dog.
I am a investigator for the State of Alabama and have been for the
past eight years, and have had to deal with every type of legal
complaint that exists, and I am very happy to find a business like
yours that people can still trust.
My wife and I appreciate the assistance of Kathy, your employee in
the Fila department. The replacement pup arrived healthy and without
problems. We are pleased that you allowed us to keep our first puppy
as my wife had become very attached to him and it appears he will be
a good pet.
Again, I want to thank you for the replacement puppy. He is
everything that you said the Fila would be, and we would recommend
(and already have) your kennel to anyone who is looking for a quality
dog from a kennel who still cares about customer satisfaction. Thanks
again for everything!"
